Week 6 (March 3rd to March 6th)

This weeks shows focused on the ongoing crisis in the Ukraine and what Russia is doing in Crimea with new developments each day as the crisis unfolds and intensifies. Correspondent Aasif Mandvi did a great segment on healthcare and the state of it here in the United States. On Monday’s show Family Guy creator and actor/director Seth MacFarlane discussed his new book A Million Ways to Die in the West based on the screenplay and movie of the same name. MSNBC host Rachel Maddow of “The Rachel Maddow Show” talked about her new film airing on MSNBC Why We Did It  which takes a look back at the Iraq War and those involved in the decision to go to war or not and what they think about the war and what happened ten years later. On Tuesday’s show former Senator and author Jim DeMint talked about his new book Falling in Love with America Again and on Thursday’s show Barnard College Professor and  Political Scientist Kimberly Marten discusses the crisis in Crimea and Russia’s role in the region.
